JUNO GEMES

Juno Gemes is a respected contemporary photographer. "The Quiet Activist" survey exhibition, Macquarie University Art Gallery was featured in the Head On photo festival in 2019 and "Proof - Portraits from the Movement, 1978-2003" exhibited at The National Portrait Gallery in 2003 - touring for five years. She specialises in portraiture, literary portraiture and Indigenous political history and has been published by the likes of The Monthly, The Guardian, Sydney Morning Herald, The Good Weekend, The Age, Heat and Meanjin.
