Louise Kennerley has worked as a staff photographer at The Sydney Morning Herald and the Australian Financial Review for over 25 years - specialising in reportage, news and portraiture. Louise recently received a Kennedy Award for Outstanding News Photo for her photographic essay documenting Waterloo housing. In 2020 Louise won third prize in the International Photo Awards (IPA) for her 'Class of 2020' photo series documenting coming of age teenagers during Sydney's COVID-19 lockdown, and in 2019 received the ACFID Media Award for coverage of the Papua New Guinea Health Crisis.
